SHIPPING COURIER BACKUP

The Shipping Courier Backup feature adds a level of protection to your store by allowing UPS and FedEx to backup each other in the event of their API going down, this means Advanced Shipping Manager will always return rates.

For example:
If you are using FedEx rates, and the FedEx server goes down, our system will automatically use UPS’s rates
until FedEx is back up. Your customers will still see FedEx shown in your store, but the calculated rates will
come from the parallel method in UPS.

FedEx Ground = UPS Ground, FedEx 2 Day = UPS 2nd Day, etc…

If you are using USPS, you have the ability to set a flat rate backup for each of USPS’s shipping methods.
These will be used in the event of a USPS server failure.
